Family and Friends often ask me what are some good hobbies, activities and ideas that they can undertake that do not cost money to start, but rather they should be free or at best actually make you money.

I don’t know about you, but I have a believe that pretty much anything is possible and can be learned if one puts the necessary determination, dedication and interest into it.

If you lack ideas of what to pick as a hobby that has little net cost or is even profitable, here’s a list. Feel free to add your suggestions.

1. Photographer. (I am actually trying to pick up this one – still raising so fund for the camera). This can be a very fun and easy to pick hobby because you don’t have to dedicate much time nor money except a few hundred dollars to buy a decent camera. Beside before you know it you might be shooting the neighbor’s cousin’s sister’s daughter wedding on a Saturday afternoon.
2. Internet Marketing. This is very broad and it’s almost impossible to tell you what to learn exactly these days, but you can select one or many of these fields: Pay Per Click (PPC), Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Consulting. There is unlimited recourses online and you spend very little or nothing. To start, if you don’t have a website get yourself and how to do everything from it and replicate what you learn in another website.
3. Carpentry. Or cabinet building. Consider elevating one home renovation skills to the point where you can make things as good as or better than machine-made store-bought items. Continue Reading
